Residential service at a dwelling unit may be suspended for the reason that said dwelling will be vacant for a period in excess of thirty (30) days and without need of service. Suspension of service shall take effect ten (10) days after giving notice to Provo City. A standby charge shall be paid during the period of suspension as shown on the Consolidated Fee Schedule adopted by the Municipal Council. To receive credit the resident must notify Provo City within 10 days of billing for the prior 30 days.
