There is hereby created a Design Review Committee which shall consist of five (5) members and two (2) alternates who are professionals in the fields of architectural design, education, landscape design, interior design, urban design, architectural history, art or graphic design, engineering, or planning. At least one (1) member shall be a business person from the community with an occupation not included among those listed above. The Planning Commission shall recommend persons to serve on the Design Review Committee. Members of the Design Review Committee shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the Municipal Council. The Design Review Committee shall be organized and operate as described in Section 2.20.020, Provo City Code and shall meet as often as the Committee deems necessary to carry out its duties.
