The Two-Family Residential Zone (R2) is established to provide a residential environment within the City which is characterized by attractively landscaped one-family and two-family residential lots and structures. This zone is intended to have a residential density slightly higher than the R1 zone, but to maintain a residential character comparable to that of a one-family residential area with large landscaped front yards. Representative uses in this zone are one- and two-family dwellings, home occupations, parks, playgrounds, schools, and churches.
