The Residential Agricultural (SDP-3) Specific Development Plan Overlay Zone is intended to be applied to areas in transition between urban development and large tract agricultural land. Specifically, the zone allows one-family residential development on larger lots, with limited agricultural uses. The standards set forth in this Chapter are intended to preserve the rural character of certain neighborhoods while allowing the influx of new homes. The SDP-3 Overlay Zone also exists to protect and enhance the enjoyment of natural features, view corridors, and to promote the efficient use of land in high water table areas.
