The following types of outdoor lighting shall be exempt from the provisions of this Chapter:

(1) Holiday lighting during the months of November, December and January. Such lighting shall not create dangerous glare on adjacent streets or properties.

(2) Temporary lighting, including but not limited to circuses, fairs, carnivals and civic uses, for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days unless otherwise approved by the Development Services Department.

(3) Lighting associated with agricultural operations.

(4) Construction or emergency lighting, provided that such lighting is temporary and is discontinued immediately upon completion of the construction work or abatement of the emergency circumstances necessitating such lighting.

(5) Roadway and airport lighting.
