18.03.010 Performance Criteria.
The following storm water management performance criteria shall be addressed for all development sites within the City unless granted a waiver in writing from the Public Works Director or the Director’s designee:
(1) Control the peak flow rates of storm water discharge as specified in the publications listed in Section 18.03.020, Provo City Code.
(2) Protect streams and other drainage channels from erosion and other degradation.
(3) Protect hillside slopes from erosion and other degradation.
(4) Prevent the degradation of storm water quality and the downstream or subsurface receiving waters.
(5) All new development and redevelopment projects are required to implement post-construction storm water controls, including selection of BMPs, design, installation, operation and maintenance necessary to protect storm water quality. Post-construction storm water controls shall conform to the criteria set forth in the publications listed in Section 18.03.020, Provo City Code.
