“Council” as use in this Chapter shall be deemed to mean and refer to the Provo City Municipal Council.

“Council Attorney” as used in this Chapter shall be deemed to mean and refer to the attorney contracted or employed by the Municipal Council or designated on the City Attorney’s staff as the Council Attorney.

“Compilation” as used in this Chapter shall be deemed to be the compilation known as the “Provo City Code” authorized and published pursuant to this Chapter. Compilation shall include, but is not limited to, printed, photographed, microfilmed, or electronic formats and media.

“Originator” as used in this Chapter shall be deemed to be the person or entity who desires an ordinance, an amendment to an ordinance, or a transfer or repeal of an ordinance, to be adopted and passed into law by the Municipal Council.
