3.02.010 Purpose.
This section is included in your selections.
(1) The purpose of this Chapter is to:
(a) achieve economy and efficiency in City purchasing activities;
(b) procure the best services, materials and construction at the most reasonable cost to the City; and
(c) provide fair treatment of persons who conduct business or wish to do business with the City.
(2) Nothing in this Chapter shall create any right, interest, or cause of action against the City, its officers, agents or employees. Any failure to follow the procedures set out herein shall not invalidate a particular purchase or procurement unless otherwise provided by law.
