If a claim or suit is brought against an office, employee or volunteer for violation of the United States Constitution, State Constitution, or laws, a condition of the obligation of the City, described in this Chapter, to defend and to pay resulting judgments, shall be that the officer, employee or volunteer advise the City of the claim or suit and request assistance in the time and manner, and with the consequences, described in the Utah Governmental Immunity Act for suits brought under state law.
