9.01.010 Police Department: Chief of Police.

(1) There shall be a Police Department consisting of a Chief of Police and subordinate police officers and other employees.
(2) The Mayor shall, subject to the advice and consent of the Municipal Council, appoint a person to act as Chief of Police. The Chief of Police may be removed from office by the Mayor as otherwise provided by law.
