It shall be unlawful for any person to do any act which interferes with, resists, molests or threatens any peace officer within the limits of Provo City, while in the discharge of the peace officer’s official duties. It shall be unlawful for any person to resist a lawful arrest whether made by a peace officer or by a private person. The fact the person being arrested believes the arrest to be improper or unlawful shall not be a defense to a violation of this Section if in fact it is a lawful arrest.
