(1) A proposed agricultural protection area will be considered at an Advisory Board meeting prior to consideration at a Planning Commission meeting.

(2) In evaluating a proposal, and in determining whether or not to recommend the creation of an agriculture protection area, the Advisory Board and Planning Commission may recommend modification of the proposed agricultural protection area to exclude land planned for a roadway, park, utility corridor, or commercial development, as determined by the official maps of the City or another political subdivision or state agency. The Municipal Council may approve, modify and approve, or reject the proposal.
