3.02.080 Construction Contracting and Management.
(1) The Purchasing Policy Manual shall provide for as many alternative methods of construction contracting and management as determined to be feasible, including the option of design-build.
(a) The design-build provisions of the Utah Procurement Code, Title 63, Chapter 56 of the Utah Code Annotated, as amended, are hereby adopted by reference.
(b) In addition to the requirements of this Chapter, the procurement of construction-related supplies and services shall comply with the requirements of mandatory applicable Federal and State law, including, but not limited to, Section 10-7-20.5, Section 10-7-86 and Section 11-39-101, et seq., of the Utah Code, as amended.
(2) Consistent with applicable law and the Purchasing Policy Manual, a department head may select the methods appropriate for a particular project.
