The display of fireworks otherwise prohibited by this Chapter is permitted if done pursuant to a permit issued and approved in writing by the Provo City Fire Chief or the Fire Chief’s designee. The display of fireworks is permitted by display operators and special effects operators to the extent allowed under the laws of the State of Utah and if done pursuant to a permit issued and approved in writing by the Provo City Fire Chief or the Fire Chief’s designee.
