6.22.080 Exemption from this Chapter for Certain MCS Providers.
(1) MCS providers who are exempted from complying with the provisions of this Chapter are as follows:
(a) an MCS is expressly exempted by federal, state or local law; or
(b) an MCS provider who is exempted from this Chapter as a result of an applicable judicial ruling.
(2) It is expressly understood that an exempted MCS provider remains exempted only as long as it meets one (1) or more of the specifications of this particular Section.
(3) It also is expressly noted that the extent of the exemption for a qualified MCS provider is only for this Chapter. Consequently, such an exempted MCS provider is expected to abide by, and comply with, any other applicable City, State, or Federal laws and regulations, including the State Consumer Sales Practices Act.
