The On-Street Parking Management (OSPM) Chapter is enacted to establish a regulatory framework to address adverse effects of excessive demand for on-street vehicle parking, which threatens the health, safety, and welfare of residents of the City. The active management of on-street parking is needed to preserve the benefits of on-street parking and discourage the abuse of this public resource.
