Provo City shall be divided into seven (7) Municipal Council Districts as provided in Section 2.01.050, Provo City Code. Five (5) districts shall be of substantially equal population. Two (2) districts shall be City-wide. One (1) nonpartisan candidate shall be elected from each Municipal Council district. Terms of office of the Municipal Council members are four (4) years each, or until a successor is qualified.
